Anniversary
of the tragedy of Beslan
The Government
of the Republic of North Ossetia declared the day of September
3rd the National Mourning Day, in memory of the tragic
attack to the School. n. 1 occurred on September 2004.
On the occasion of the anniversary, people has deposed
flowers in the place of the tragedy and lighted candles.
The 3rd of September at 13.05 all the Republic has observed
a minute of silence, during which stopped the lessons,
the factories and all the transports. The Association
Women of the Mediterranean asks all to ideally
clasp the Beslan population, to let them feel we have
not forgotten them and that the entire world is still
with them with so much love.
Project
"A future for Beslan"
On September 11,
2004, we have launched a public initiative of Women
of the Mediterranean in favour of the children and
the families of Beslan so tragically struck by terrorism,
to involve and to sensitize the Italian and the international
public opinion.
We would like that
those children and their families could be able, if to not
forget, at least to assuage their pain with our help and
contribution, and we would like to help them to overcome
the moments of serious psychological difficulty they are
living
We want to assure
the Ossetian families that they are not alone:
the help comes even after the emergency.
